Suzanne Smitha.
Suzanne is a school psychologist
who was instrumental in changing her school’s discipline approach to Positive
Discipline in 1990, resulting in a reduction in discipline referrals and
improvement in the entire climate of the school. She has provided in-service
to dozens of schools in the southeast with the desire to make similar changes.
She also maintains a private practice in school psychology and conducts
workshops, lectures, and parent groups on a variety of topics.

Dina Emser. Dina is a
Positive Discipline Associate with over 20 years of experience in education.
She has taught every grade level - pre kindergarten through the eighth grade -
as well as college level students, teachers and parents. For nine years she
served as the principal of an Adlerian elementary/middle school whose staff
incorporated the Positive Discipline principles including classroom meetings.
Currently Dina works as a Certified Professional Coach working with
individuals and organizations who want to maximize their effectiveness. She
also presents Positive Discipline workshops to schools and agencies

An interview with Teresa LaSala CPDA.
Teresa has 23 years nursing experience in the areas of Pediatric Child
Development, Pediatric Critical Care, and Cardiac/Medical Care. In recent
years she has worked one-on-one in school classroom settings with classified
children and children with special medical needs. Through her work, experience
as past president of an International Community Service Organization and
through being a mother of two, Teresa gained the knowledge and expertise
needed to successfully facilitate workshops in Teaching Parenting and Positive
Discipline in the Classroom.
Teresa has many years experience working in the classroom with PDC as well as
Teaching Parenting workshops. She became a Certified Positive Discipline
Associate in January of 2004 and currently serves on the PDA Board.
